Principles, Aims and Objectivies
The National People’s Party shall bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established and to the principles of socialism, secularism and parliamentary democracy and would uphold the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India and shall endeavour:
- To ensure all citizens justice, social, economic & political.
- To ensure all citizens liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship.
- To ensure all citizens equality of status and of opportunity.
- To promote amongst citizens fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual.
- The Party shall not yield from working for the interests and welfare of the backward and oppressed and from protecting constitutional rights of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes and security and prosperity of the people of India.
- The Party is committed to uphold, preserve and promote the age-old traditions, customs and rich cultural heritage of different ethnic communities of the Union of India who have been living in perfect communal harmony down through the ages. There should be recognition and encouragement of diversity of cultural expression and way of life of ethnic communities
- The National People's Party will work for the well-being and advancement of the people of India, by peaceful and constitutional means, of a Socialist State based on Parliamentary Democracy in which there is equality of opportunity and of political, economic and social rights and which aims at world peace and fellowship
